How does the live proxy test work?
Choose an available country, enter a public website URL and select Test connection. We connect through a dedicated PreProx Residential Data account. The live result shows the requested country, connection details, HTTP response and timing. When browser capture is available, it also shows a screenshot of the website.
Does testing use my purchased GB or wallet balance?
No. Testing uses a separate PreProx-funded residential account. Your purchased GB and wallet balance stay unchanged. Browser previews still use data, so daily account allowances and overall testing limits apply.
Why might a screenshot be missing or look incomplete?
The preview is a lightweight browser capture. It loads a small number of images to reduce testing data, so some images may be missing. A website may also show a challenge, restrict the test connection, redirect, or need resources beyond the capture limits. If capture is unavailable or fails, the result explains that instead of showing a substitute image.
Can I choose the proxy country?
Yes. Search by country name or two-letter country code, then select an available location. The selected country is applied to the residential test connection. The result identifies it as the requested country; it does not independently verify exit-IP geolocation.
Does a successful test guarantee my website workflow will work?
A result describes this connection at this moment. Other exit IPs, request settings and later visits may behave differently. The tool does not sign in, complete purchases, solve CAPTCHAs or verify every part of a website. Test your actual workflow with your own connection before relying on it.
Why are there daily limits or an unavailable message?
Limits keep the shared testing account available and control bandwidth use. Sign in with a verified email to test. Your allowance resets at 00:00 UTC. Testing can pause when a shared allowance is reached, locations are unavailable, or the service is being configured.
