One desktop app for your PreProx connections on Mac.

PreProx Proxy Manager brings residential proxy data, static lease IPs, and manual proxy profiles into one macOS workflow. Sign in to synchronize eligible PreProx access, search supported residential locations, choose a connection default, and keep the active route visible without repeatedly editing network settings by hand.

Residential proxy GB

Use purchased residential data, search available countries and locations, and connect through a selected residential route from macOS.

Country, state, and city targeting

Search the location hierarchy, expand countries, and choose an available state or city when the residential network supports that target.

Static lease synchronization

Sign in to synchronize eligible mobile and WiFi lease IPs, then connect from the Static Lease section without copying credentials manually.

Manual proxy profiles

Add and save your own authorized HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5, or SOCKS4 connection details for faster desktop switching.

Secure account access

Use PreProx login, optional Security PIN verification, and synchronized account data in the same desktop experience.

Rotation and sticky sessions

Choose rotating residential behavior or a supported sticky duration from 10 minutes through 7 days for location-based sessions.

System proxy controls

Apply the selected HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5 route to enabled macOS network services that honor system proxy settings.

Automatic connection details

After a new connection, review the detected IP address, country, city, and speed before relying on the route.

History and usage

Review recent residential sessions, locations, dates, and transferred data from the desktop History section.

Connection privacy controls

Use the macOS connection settings and supported browser privacy controls while a verified proxy route is active.

Connect with the proxy source that matches your workflow.

Switch between Residential, Static Lease, and Manual Proxies without leaving the macOS app. Only one proxy source is active at a time, which keeps the system route predictable.

Pay-as-you-go data

Residential proxies

Use purchased residential GB, search available countries, states, and cities, and choose rotating or sticky behavior before connecting.

  • Country, state, and city targeting
  • Rotation and sticky session controls
  • Residential balance and usage visibility

Static lease IPs

Sign in to synchronize eligible active mobile and WiFi lease IPs, then connect from the Static Lease section while the lease is available.

  • No repeated credential entry
  • Assigned location details
  • One active connection at a time
Browse static proxy leases
Bring your own endpoint

Manual proxies

Create reusable profiles for compatible proxy servers you control. Manual setup works without purchasing a PreProx proxy product.

  • SOCKS5, HTTP, and HTTPS options
  • Optional username and password
  • Saved profiles for faster reconnecting
Compare proxy protocols

See the active route before you continue.

The macOS dashboard keeps the selected source, target location, proxy protocol, session mode, and connection state visible. After a successful connection, the app can show the detected exit IP, country, city, and speed so you can verify the route before starting a location-sensitive task.

  • Automatic IP, country, city, and speed feedback after a new connection
  • Connected, connecting, paused, and disconnected states in one desktop panel
  • One active residential, static lease, or manual proxy at a time

Know what is required before installing.

These details describe the current product and distinguish the connection manager from the proxy access used with it.

Device
A compatible Mac running macOS with system proxy settings available
Account
Required for PreProx residential data and static lease sync; optional for manual proxies
Proxy access
Residential data and static leases are purchased separately; the app does not include proxy traffic by itself
Administrator approval
macOS may request administrator approval when the app applies or removes system proxy settings
Connection scope
Apps and browsers that honor macOS system proxy settings can use the selected route; apps with their own network stack may bypass it
Security note
A proxy changes the network route but does not by itself guarantee anonymity. Verify IP, DNS, and browser privacy signals for sensitive workflows

Common Questions

Installation, compatibility, proxy access, and account requirements explained directly.

What is PreProx Proxy Manager for macOS?
It is a desktop proxy manager for macOS that lets you use purchased residential data, eligible static lease IPs, or compatible manual proxy profiles from one application.
Does the macOS app work with every browser and application?
The app applies the selected route to enabled macOS network services. Browsers and apps that honor system HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5 proxy settings can use it, while apps with their own network stack or proxy configuration may bypass system settings.
Do I need a PreProx account to use the macOS app?
An account is required to synchronize PreProx residential data and static lease IPs. You can use Manual Proxies without signing in when you already have a compatible endpoint.
Does downloading the macOS app include residential GB or a static IP?
No. Residential data and static leases are purchased separately. Sign in with the same PreProx account after purchase to synchronize eligible access.
Can I add my own proxy to PreProx on Mac?
Yes. Manual Proxies lets you save a compatible host, port, protocol, and optional authentication details for a proxy you are authorized to use.
Which proxy protocols does the macOS app support?
The app supports SOCKS5, HTTP, and HTTPS connection options. Compatibility and authentication behavior still depend on the endpoint and the application receiving the system proxy setting.
Can I target a country, state, or city with residential proxies?
You can search the available location hierarchy by country, state, or city and connect to a matching result when the current residential network inventory supports it.
Why does macOS ask for administrator approval?
PreProx needs administrator approval when it changes system proxy settings for enabled macOS network services. The request allows supported apps and browsers to route through the selected proxy.
What happens when I switch between Residential, Static Lease, and Manual?
PreProx keeps one active proxy source at a time. Disconnect the current route before connecting another source so the macOS system proxy state stays predictable.
Does the macOS app prevent WebRTC leaks?
The app can apply supported browser privacy controls while a verified proxy is active, but WebRTC behavior depends on the browser. Confirm the browser and network privacy signals separately instead of treating a proxy as a complete anonymity guarantee.
Where can I verify the IP used by my Mac?
After connecting, review the IP and location shown in PreProx, then use the Full IP Information or IP Reputation tools from PreProx to inspect the public route.
